Meta Ad Account Data Not Updating In Cometly

Learn how to resolve if your Meta ad account data is not updating inside Cometly.

If your ad account data is not updating, your connected Facebook profile may need to be resynced or you may be getting throttled by Meta.

Resync Your Meta Connection

First check if you need to resync your Meta connection by navigating to the Integrations page > Meta integration.

It will show you an error if you need to resync your Meta connection.


Check for App Throttling

Second check your app connections to determine if you are being throttled by Meta

When the profile is throttled, it means there are to many requests made to retrieve ad account data.

This is common if you are using multiple apps at the same time that are retrieving ad data using your profile connection.

Please follow the steps below to view the apps that have access to your Facebook profile:

  1. Login to your Facebook profile that is connected to your Cometly space and navigate to your settings, visit: https://www.facebook.com/settings

  2. On the left menu, click Business Integrations

  3. Click Remove for any applications that are currently not in use and/or actively retrieving ad data from your ad account.

If you are using multiple apps to retrieve ad data from your ad account, that is likely why your Facebook profile is getting throttled.
