Adding the Cometly Pixel to your Cognito Forms allows you to automatically track form submissions and capture key data like email addresses, names, and more. Follow the steps below to integrate the Cometly Pixel with your Cognito Forms.

Steps to Add the Cometly Pixel

Follow the instructions below to ensure the Cometly pixel is correctly added to your Cognito Form:

  1. Navigate to the Settings Tab
Open the Cognito Form you want to add the pixel to, and go to the Settings tab on the left-hand menu.

  2. Add a New Pixel

    • In the Tracking Pixels section, click + New Pixel.

    • Paste your Cometly pixel script into the pixel field.

    • Save your changes.

  3. Enable Analytics & Tracking

    • Locate the Analytics & Tracking section under Form Settings.

    • Toggle Analytics & Tracking to ON.

    • This step is required for the tracking pixel functionality to work.

Save Your Changes and Publish the Form

  1. After pasting the script, click Save Changes to ensure the pixel is applied.

  2. Publish your form to activate the Cometly Pixel and start tracking form submissions.

Confirm Pixel Installation on the Embedded Form

  1. Verify the Pixel on the Cognito Form:

    • Ensure the Cometly Pixel code is added to the Cognito form itself (via the Page load scripts field).

  2. Verify the Pixel on the Embedded Page:

    • Ensure the Cometly Pixel is also installed on the webpage where the Cognito form is embedded.

    • The pixel must exist in both locations to correctly capture form field data.
