GoHighLevel Form Tracking

Discover how to set up automatic form tracking for GoHighLevel forms, enabling the Cometly Pixel to seamlessly capture form field data.

GoHighLevel offers two types of forms for collecting data:

  1. Native Forms on Landing Pages: These are built directly within the GoHighLevel web builder and are seamlessly integrated into your landing page design.

  2. Embedded iFrame Forms: These forms are created in the GoHighLevel Forms Builder and embedded onto landing pages as iFrames.

This article specifically focuses on Embedded iFrame Forms. If you're working with native forms on landing pages, the Cometly pixel will automatically track form field data.

GoHighLevel Embedded iFrame Forms Setup

You need to edit the form you are embedding in your web pages, look for the HTML box in the menu on the left and drag/paste it inside the form.

Add the custom HTML block to the top of the form

On the right-side, open the HTML block and paste your Cometly Pixel into the HTML block. You can retreive the Cometly Pixel in Space Setup > Install Cometly Pixel.

Publish changes and test automatic form field capture using the instructions below.

Test Form Tracking

Use the Cometly Pixel Helper to verify the automatic form field capture for the email address form field.
