This guide will walk you through integrating Klaviyo with Cometly using Zapier. Using Zapier, you can seamlessly send events to Cometly when a new form submission has been completed on your Klaviyo form.
The Cometly Pixel will automatically capture key form field data, including first name, last name, email, and phone number on your Klaviyo forms. This ensures that any new event sent to Cometly is accurately linked to the original customer journey, allowing you to view detailed source data within your Cometly account.
Important Step For Klaviyo Integration
Set up a segment in your Klaviyo account specifically for Klaviyo form submissions. The integration guide will walk you through creating a Zap that triggers when a new Klaviyo profile is added to a segment or list. In the Zap's Klaviyo trigger step, specify the segment you created.
By defining the segment to include only users who filled out a Klaviyo form, the Zap will only trigger when a new profile is added to this segment, sending the data to Cometly. This approach ensures that only relevant profiles are sent, avoiding the inclusion of profiles added to Klaviyo from other sources or tools you’ve synced with Klaviyo. This setup provides better control and accuracy for tracking form submissions.

Create a New Zap in Zapier
In your Zapier account, click Create Zap.
Select Klaviyo as the trigger app.
Choose Trigger Event
Select Profile added to Segment or List as the trigger event. When a new profile is added to a segment in Klaviyo, this will trigger the Zap to send the event to Cometly.
On the Configure step, choose Segment as your Audience Type and then choose your specific segment that you created.
Choose Cometly as the Action
For the event action choose Send Event.
Choose your event (you can use the pre-configured Lead event or create a new event)
