How to Cancel Your Cometly Account
At Cometly, we strive to provide tools and support to help you achieve your advertising goals. However, we understand that circumstances can change, and you may need to cancel your account. This article explains the steps to take based on the type of plan you’re on: self-serve or contract.
For Self-Serve Plans and Free Trials
If you’re on a self-serve plan or a free trial, canceling your Cometly account is quick and easy. Follow these steps:
Log in to your Cometly Account: Use your credentials to access your account.
Navigate to the Billing Page: Click on your profile icon in the bottom-left corner and select Billing from the slide out menu.
Click Change Plan: On the Billing page, you’ll see a blue button option to Change Plan.
Click Cancel Subscription: On the change plan page, you'll see on your current plan a button that says "Cancel Subscription"
Once your cancellation is processed, you’ll no longer be charged for future billing cycles. Your account will remain active until the end of your current billing period.
For Contract Plans
If you’re on a contract plan, canceling your account requires a different process. Please follow these steps:
Contact Your Cometly Representative: Reach out to your dedicated Cometly account representative. You can find their contact details in your account dashboard or the welcome email you received when your contract started.
Discuss Your Options: Your representative will guide you through the cancellation process and discuss any terms or conditions related to your contract. Depending on your agreement, there may be specific requirements or fees associated with early termination.
