Learn how to install the Cometly Pixel in Instapage.

This guide explains how to install the Cometly Pixel in Instapage using Workspace Scripts or directly within individual landing pages for accurate tracking and data collection.


Option 1: Install the Cometly Pixel Using Workspace Scripts

The Workspace Scripts feature allows you to apply the Cometly Pixel to all landing pages within a workspace. You can learn about Instapage Workspace Scripts in Instapage's help article.

Step 1: Access Workspace Settings

  1. Log in to your Instapage account.

  2. Navigate to the Workspace Settings by clicking on your workspace name in the top-left corner and selecting Settings.

Step 2: Add the Cometly Pixel

  1. In the Workspace Settings, go to the Scripts section.

  2. Paste your Cometly Pixel base code into the Header section.

    • Ensure the code is properly placed within the <head> tag.

  3. Click Save Settings to apply the script across all landing pages in the workspace.


Option 2: Install the Cometly Pixel on an Individual Landing Page

If you prefer to add the Cometly Pixel to a specific landing page, follow these steps:

Step 1: Open the Page Settings

  1. Log in to your Instapage account and open the desired landing page.

  2. Click the Settings gear icon in the top menu.

Step 2: Add the Pixel Code

  1. In the Settings menu, navigate to the JavaScript or Tracking Code section.

  2. Select the Header section and paste your Cometly Pixel base code.

    • Ensure the code is formatted correctly and saved within the <head> tag.

  3. Save and close the settings menu.

Step 3: Publish the Page

  1. Click Publish to apply the changes and make the page live with the updated pixel tracking.


Verify the Pixel Installation

Navigate to the Space Setup > Install & Verify Cometly Pixel to add & verify your domain and test that the Cometly Pixel is installed on your Instapages.

Troubleshooting Instapage Pixel Installation

  • If the pixel isn’t verifying, check for caching issues or conflicting scripts that might block or delay JavaScript.

  • For Workspace Scripts, ensure the correct workspace is selected and the settings are saved.



By following these steps, you’ll successfully install the Cometly Pixel in Instapage using either Workspace Scripts or individual page scripts, ensuring accurate tracking across your campaigns.
