Convertri Pixel Installation

Learn how to install the Cometly Pixel on your Convertri site.

Updated over a year ago

Cometly Pixel

The Cometly base code pixel automatically tracks the source of webpage visitors and automatically captures information from form opt-ins (first name, last name, email, and phone number). To begin, place the Cometly Pixel on every website or domain you want to track, including your main domain, subdomains, and any additional domains.

This pixel must be placed in the <head> section of every website that you want to track. This includes your main domain (e.g., cometly.com) and subdomains (go.cometly.com, blog.cometly.com, academy.cometly.com, etc.).

Visit the Space Setup page and click Install & Verify Cometly Pixel

How to Install Cometly Pixel in Convertri

Start by navigating to the 'Funnels' page of your Converti dashboard and then click 'Edit' on the funnel you wish to add the pixel to.

Next, you will click on the 'Scripts' tab from the navbar.

Once on the 'Scripts' page, select 'Add Funnel Script'

For the script, itself, follow these steps:

  1. Name your script.

  2. Make sure that 'Run on page load' is selected.

  3. Make sure that 'Script position' is set to 'Head'

  4. Add your pixel code

  5. Press 'Save'

Finally, you will need to go back through the pages of your funnel and ensure they are republished so that the pixel will go live on your site.

Once this is completed, the Cometly Pixel will be live on your Convertri site!

Cross Domain Tracking (Required For SaaS Companies)

If your setup involves users navigating between your main domain and subdomains (e.g., from cometly.com to app.cometly.com), it's essential to configure cross-domain tracking to maintain accurate user data.

Example: If traffic flows from cometly.com to app.cometly.com, cross-domain tracking ensures users are properly tracked across both domains.
