Objective
Below video will show you how to generate three reports: All customer purchases in the last 30 days, New customer purchases in the last 30 days, and Returning customer purchases in the last 30 days.
Key Steps
All Customer Purchases in Last 30 Days:
Navigate to the report builder.
Name the report "All Customer Purchases | Last 30 Days."
Select the date range as the last 30 days.
Choose the metric "purchase" to display all purchases.
Verify the data output on the chart.
Add the report to the dashboard.
New Customer Purchases in Last 30 Days:
Edit the "Customer Purchases All" report.
Change the name to "New Customer Purchases | Last 30 Days."
Add a filter for "First Purchase Date" less than 31 days ago.
Verify the filtered data and add the report to the dashboard.
Returning Customer Purchases in Last 30 Days:
Edit the "Customer Purchases New" report.
Edit the filter for "First Purchase Date" and instead of "less than", select "more than" and put in "30" days ago.
Change the report name to "Returning Customer Purchases | Last 30 Days."
Verify the data and add the report to the dashboard.
