Chargebee Integration

Learn how to send events from Chargebee to Cometly.

Updated this week

This guide will walk you through integrating Chargebee with Cometly using Cometly Webhooks. You can seamlessly send events to Cometly for every successful payment, new subscriptions, and converted trials, for advanced tracking and attribution.

We will first start with setting up Cometly Webhooks to send new successful payments to Cometly using Cometly Webhooks. We will cover the additional events that are possible at the end of the article.

Follow the steps below to set up Cometly webhooks in Chargebee to send successful payment events to Cometly.

Setting Up Webhook In Chargebee

To configure your webhooks, go to Settings > Configure Chargebee > API Keys and Webhooks. Then switch to the Webhooks tab.

If you have not added a webhook already, click Add Webhook.

Webhook Name: Add any Webhook name.

Webhook URL: The next step will show you how to create a Cometly Webhook. Please leave blank until the next step.

For Events to Send, choose Payment Succeeded. This will ensure that every new successful payment in Chargebee is sent to Cometly.

Each webhook you set up with Cometly should only have one event. You can create multiple webhooks in Chargbee and Cometly. In the next step you will learn how to create and setup Cometly Webhooks to receive event data from Chargebee. For other events (subscription created, subscription activated, etc.) you will be able to use Cometly filters when mapping the data and configuring the webhook in Cometly.
